Kit Harington is the latest name added to Hulu’s upcoming limited series adaptation of Sophie Stava’s novel Count My Lies, joining a cast that already features Lindsay Lohan and Shailene Woodley. In the show, Harington will portray Jay Lockhart, with Woodley as Sloane Caraway and Lohan as Violet.
The series centers on Sloane Caraway, a compulsive liar who lands a nanny job with the glamorous Violet and Jay Lockhart. What seems like a dream gig quickly reveals a household packed with dangerous secrets that threaten everyone involved, potentially with devastating consequences.
Harington’s current credits include a lead role in HBO’s popular financial drama Industry, whose fourth season premieres on January 11. He recently guest-starred in Lena Dunham’s Netflix series Too Much and is set to appear in the BBC One/MGM+ miniseries adaptation of A Tale of Two Cities in 2026. Fans will also recognize him as Jon Snow from Game of Thrones, a role he played throughout the show’s eight seasons. In film, he appeared in Apple’s The Family Plan 2 and has taken part in projects such as Eternals and The Death & Life of John F. Donovan.
Represented by CAA, United Agents, Shafran PR, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman, Harington joins a creative team led by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who will pen the adaptation and also serve as executive producers through The Walk-Up Company. Lohan and Woodley will executive produce alongside them, with Antonio Campos attached to direct and executive produce. Scott Morgan of The Walk-Up Company is also an executive producer, while Sophie Stava serves as a producer. 20th Television is the studio backing the project.
